Remediation service
Mold Remediation
Mold is a South Florida fact of life. Remediation means removing the contamination and
the conditions that created it, under containment, with negative air, so spores never
travel to the rest of the property.

Questions
Frequently asked
Is mold testing included?
We inspect at no cost. Independent lab testing and post-remediation clearance can be arranged with a third-party hygienist.
What is the difference between a mold assessor and a mold remediator?
The assessor finds and evaluates the problem: inspection, air and surface samples, extent and source, and the written remediation protocol. The remediator removes and corrects it: containment, negative air, demolition, HEPA cleaning and removal of contaminated materials. Florida licenses the two roles separately, and Spartan is the licensed remediator, MRSR 5084.
Do I need an inspection before remediation?
For anything beyond a small, clearly contained area, yes. The assessment becomes the protocol the remediation follows and is verified against, so you are not guessing at scope.
Who performs the final clearance test?
Ideally the independent assessor, not the company that did the removal. That keeps verification impartial and gives you documentation for an insurer, buyer or association.
Do we have to move out?
Rarely. Containment keeps work isolated to the affected zone so most families stay in the home.
Will it come back?
Not if the moisture source is fixed, which is why every Spartan remediation includes finding and correcting it.
